Buying Time, Philadelphia, December 2015
A collaborative project co-curated with Avdo Babic. It began with parodying photo shoots of the artists in their natural habitat of the Italian Market, in which they donned varying degrees of cartoonish self importance and high drama in the midst of building friendly rapports with the local vendors there. The project finished with an exhibit of small paintings inspired by our preoccupation with food and purchase. The public reception took place inside the hydropose grow space in South Philadelphia.

It's the Humidity That'll Kill You, Philadelphia, August 2015
A group exhibition hosted by Automat Collective in Philadelphia, curated by C.J. Stahl and Scott Schultheis. The works on view picked up on the haptic, visceral, and sometimes intangible weight of the late-summer season. With the climate becoming more and more feverish, the drawings, paintings, sculptural works and video exemplified the unstable ground between plausibility and fantasy.
